Written for Philomena's first birthday, our debut book follows Philomena, a farmer who grows clouds in the sky. When the green hills complain about the shade, she takes a break, only to discover the valley needs both sun and rain to thrive.
A Story of Sun & Rain
Meet Philomena
a most unusual farmer
Instead of working with plants and trees, she lives high in the big blue sky, planting seeds of breeze that sprout into bright white clouds! She takes great pride in her fluffy crops. But when her busy farming blocks out the bright yellow sun, the green hills below complain and beg her to stop.
Sad that her friends are upset, Philomena hangs up her tools. Slowly, the clouds burn away until they vanish completely. The hills are thrilled at first, but without Philomena's clouds, the lush valley soon turns barren and brown from too much sun and not enough rain.
When the sun himself asks for her help, Philomena must gather all the water she can find to brew up a magnificent storm, and a beautiful reminder that the world needs a perfect balance of both sun and rain to truly thrive.
